How it Works
The Mentoring Program is Full for 2015. Please check back in the future for upcoming mentoring sessions.
In partnership together in 2012 IIBN and IN- NYC developed Irish Executive Mentoring Program. We are delighted to continue to endorse and support this fantastic mentoring program.
Thanks to the generous financial support of our public and private funders, the Irish Executive Mentoring Program is available to all citizens of the island of Ireland and members of the Irish diaspora worldwide. If you have an affinity with Ireland and would like to engage with and contribute to this dynamic community, you are welcome to participate.
Our community is comprised of both Mentors and Protégés. To find out more or join the community – read on!
Mentors – Typically, mid- to late-career executives and entrepreneurs, willing to share their experience and guide early- to mid-career counterparts towards accomplishing key professional goals. You will volunteer 1-2 hours per month, for six months, in service to your mentoring partnership.
Protégés – Typically, early- to mid-career executives or entrepreneurs, looking to learn from experience and work towards accomplishing meaningful professional goals to achieve greater success in business. You will dedicate at least two hours per month, for six months, preparing for and participating in meetings with your mentor.
Step 1: Complete an online assessment to establish a profile of your skills and experience, to inform the mentor matching process.
Step 2: Get matched with a great partner from the global Irish diaspora, to work together towards professional goals.
Step 3: Spend six months in partnership, meeting regularly by suitable means (phone, Skype are common), when respective schedules permit.
Congratulations! You’ve done something amazing for yourself and your career.
